This is a cover of the song ‘When I’m Gone’ by Lulu and The Lampshades. Homophonic: Take The Power Back – Rage Against The Machine (First Verse).Monophonic: The Cup Song – Cal & Ray (00:18 – 00:26).I’m going to be looking at three examples of polyphonic, monophonic and homophonic that also use contrapuntal devices. It is essentially one melody with accompaniment such as chords, either playing the same rhythm as the melody, or just jamming along. Homophonic is the most common musical texture nowadays. It can be either the composer writing the melody with slight differences on each instrument, or it can be down to simply improvisation taking over the musicians brain. Heterophonic textures tend to crop up more frequently within South African music or Middle Eastern music. It is essentially a melody line played by two or more musicians, with slight differences played differently with each performer. Heterophonic is perhaps the rarest of the musical textures within music as it rarely crops up within western music. Polyphonic means many sounds and is when more than one melodic line are present, they have equal importance and are performed at the same time, effectively overlapping each other. Polyphonic textures can be performed by one stand alone musician on instruments such as piano or harmonium. A very common example of this would be Happy Birthday which is sang alone and has one melody through out (unless you have that embarrassing family member who attempts harmonising it AKA my uncle). The texture contains one melodic line that can be played on any instrument whether it be a sitar or someone singing their heart out. To replicate, simply build a colony with a school or university and assign an eligible colonist.Textures within music are split off into four different segments each with different names and definitions of how that certain texture works. It appears to happen with every school, university, or sanatorium. I replicated it on a second new game with a different sponsor. Space Race, Green Planet, Marsvision Song Contest, Colony Design Set, Project Laika, In-Dome Buildings Pack, Mysteries Resupply Pack I have verified that this does not disappear after a few sols. So far I have not observed it in service or production buildings. This error is present in a clean new game started with version 1010784.Įrror observed in the following buildings: These are from two separate colonies with the same error. Six screenshots, attached, show the penalty on an example person and the same person in their housing space, which is clearly in the same dome. Similarly university students and sanatorium patients are also receiving this penalty despite living in the same dome as the university or sanatorium. Instead this penalty is being applied to all children in schools and school spires, despite living in the same dome. The “Not Working In Home Dome” -10 performance penalty should only appear when a colonist lives in one dome and works in a different dome. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
