The latest Mark X model also features the Intelligent Adaptive Front-lighting System which shifts the low beams to match the steering angle and vehicle speed when cornering with the headlights on, thereby enhancing visibility in the direction the vehicle is moving. The Mark X has an outstanding safety rating, and it comes fitted with several optional and standard safety features including driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, curtain shield airbags, driver’s knee airbag, Brake Assist system, Seatbelts, Hill-start Assist Control, Cruise Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, and Active Headrests. It was a new phenomenon that the X was one of the first to introduce. The Mark X has its exhaust integrated to the rear bumper. As Standard, the Mark X comes fitted with steel rims with caps with alloy rims only available on the high-end models. The headlights design features three linked light units. The Mark X does not feature a Toyota badge, instead, it has a large or small “X” sitting on the grille. This creates an impression like the top of the car is sitting on the lower portion.
